And literally even now that my kids are adults...they hardly swear. They became desensitized to it. It became normal...and not "naughty words". They are just fuckin words right?

Oddly enough I can say the same. I once went 12 whole years without uttering one single cuss word. Then I went through a difficult time in my life and the foul words gushed forth like an unstoppable geyser (which isn't showing any signs of letting up). This all started when my boys were 8 and 10 years old. They're now 29 and 31 and neither of them ever swear at all. So weird.
