The problem is that the people who design these have never used them for a living.
I think those were designed to spill gas on people on purpose. That shit is bad for you plus it make people think that spilling all this gas is bad for the environment.
You can buy New Old Stock gas caps on the net!
It ends up being contrary to the original intent,
like moving manufacturing to China ---- causing to overall pollution to increase.

The problem is to keep the ethanol from evaporating.
