The movie was set in this year. We're not eating each other, as far as we know, but in some ways, it was spot on.

As a start, call them "The powers that used to be". Never give "them" power with your words, they are well versed in word magic / manipulation/ NLP and have you doom yourself by using these "programming phrases"

I also like to refer to "them" as the d-elite since this is what is happening to them!
