one of those Coffee & Cigarettes type films where the whole thing consists of a series of conversations between people in a cafe or diner, unfortunately could never be made today due to the shrunken attention spans of most people. Even then it was kind of niche, but it did pop up on critics best of the year lists and did $5 million in theatres on a tiny budget.
Thank you. Have you noticed that there isnβt nearly this much depth to any of todayβs content as there was in the β50s through the early eighties? I guess we should include the β90s and the Simpsons, too.
The grandkids had the Simpsons on last night as they were playing UNO. The episode was called "Real Housewives of Fat Tony" from May 1, 2011 (season 22, episode 19). In the episode one of Marges sisters becomes Fat Tonys side piece. They have a fake wedding and Fat Tony is introducing some of his family. He introduces one young women and says she attends the "Sandy Hook Vocational Institute".
This episode aired more than18 months before the Sandy Hook FF on December 14, 2012.
What movie is that?
It's called My Dinner With Andre

Id embed but thats beyond my technical ability.
Depth? I feel like a world record free-diving champion, who can hold his breath for 25 minutes, fronting up to a wading pool.
Thanks. I will go see if I can find it.
