What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
Pepper is my own mix with timur, sechuan, pink, green, malabar, black, white (depending on what I find)… all quickly shredded like steack pepper.
Bard the roast: use bard (fine loafers of lard) all around the roast then tie it like a net so everything stays in place.
Haven't tried the Timur, just looked it up and will have to find some to try. Anything lemony and pepper sounds good to me.
Thanks for the explanation of bard, hadn't heard that term before. I think what you're calling loafers we call rashers - thin, long strips of fatty meat (like bacon or pork belly).
