At this stage in the game, this is narrative seeding. Do not expect for this to pass the senate, or the executive branch. The purpose of introducing this bill is to start the conversation, and spread news about how corrupt the IRS is, while also witnessing the Democrats defend taxation without representation.
This is a brilliant chess move, but only if you know the perspective to view it from.
This looks like the weird kid who no one likes telling everyone theyre not invited to the party.
Like this more than likely wont even pass the house, take a look at what the squad did in 2020 and how well "force the vote" went. This is the same thing as then
Came to say this. Most Americans would love to see the IRS go away or have "fair tax" or whatever flavor we call it. Dems [Senate] don't pass it, people are pissed. Dems [Senate] pass it, potato vetos, people pissed. Brilliant indeed.

All they have to do is defund it and the Senate becomes irrelevant in this matter.
Can the house defund things without the Senate's consent?
Yes. "Defund" is actually their Samson Option.
Congress controls the purse.
That'd be sumthin, wouldn't it?
Holy shit, anyone who votes against this is gonna be real unpopular back home.
