The University of Southern California Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work will no longer use the world "field" in its curriculum or its practices.

I guess these academics get rather confused when someone asks them what field they work in.

I work in IT, but I guess their projectionist racist minds are expecting someone to say 'cotton'.

Seriously, what's their rationale for claiming it's racist?
