Idk, if this applies. My 15 yrs old baby sitter at the time ( 1997). Got pregnant her first time in a dominoes bathroom stall! When I found out, she was 5 mnths. I was devastated for her! She had been my sons babysitter since he was 11 mnths, old and on many family vacations. I was there , while she was in labor that night at 15, acting like a mere child! I was purely disgusted at her! And , yes... I let her know! She had made the choice to get laid and get pregnant, she could endure the pain! I had no !!! Sympathy for this little child! I male No Bones about It! She Ruined Her life! Never babysat for My kid again!

Well it has happened in my family, 2 of my nephews were making babies while still in high school. I believe that no life is an accident, and I admire the ones that keep and raise their babies or give them up for adoption. It makes children grow up fast that’s for sure. At that age most kids don’t believe in consequences.

I met a lady from Africa, probably in her late thirties to early forties if I remember correctly (from many years ago), who'd had a daughter when she was thirteen. She admitted she was "just a kid" herself when she looks back. She said "You do things differently here in America" and shared the perspective that now her daughter is already grown and out on her own with her own family while she's still young and healthy enough to enjoy the rest of her life being free (from the demands of child-rearing on a daily basis). Interesting perspective.

Being married and raising children with both parents makes a profound difference to the children, of course, but having a support system when you're a teenage parent is probably more important than wealth. Culture vs affluence. Emotionally I think teenagers are probably a little too young to be optimally effective as parents as they don't have much life experience to pass on good decision-making skills to their offspring. Again, if culturally, they have a generational support system, the children can get good guidance that way.

Affluence can buy creature comforts, keep mothers from having to go to work to help support the family while dumping the kids in daycare for others to raise in their formative years. There are obviously dangers associated with others influencing children. Affluence doesn't preclude anyone from dumping their kids in daycare even if they're not working. Then again I've met older people who've had grandchildren dumped on them by irresponsible children which precludes them from being able to enjoy their retirement years.

Your question is kind of broad. From what perspective are we considering this? The child's perspective? The parents' perspective? The grandparents' perspective? A societal perspective? A parent's character is more important to how a child develops than their financial status. Also, when you think of it, God made women able to bear children in their teenage years.

Well, she has a home and ability to feed her child. Why do people still get surprised about getting pregnant? There is no mystery involved. Intercourse between male and female anything can result in pregnancy for the female. I will not make a judgement. My opinion is that in these times, ,teenagers are not ready, like they were 100 years ago. I think maturity is important in parenting, but some are mature at different ages. Marrying because you get knocked up is not the best way to start life with a man, unless it is a relationship that was based on love and plans for the future. Old fashioned? You betcha. Gentlemen, teach your sons to not pressure girls to go all the way, because when you are that age, it's easy to give in to the desires without thinking of the consequences. Lots of kids do get married and start families right out of High School, but until you are 18, you are not considered to be an adult. The last thing you want to do to a young child is to regret them, that messes with them, and will show with the parents attitude, the child can sense it, even if they are careful about it.

I've been living on an almond orchard for the past eight years. It is true we are getting a lot of water, but the almond trees are fine. I don't see a reason to panic tbh. If it hurts anything it will probably delay the start of germination, which is in the next 4-6 weeks. Harvest typically begins in August and ends in September.
