Wonder what changed I guess it needed to come eventually. Before we was getting a geoblock message now we can view posts.

As I recall, you have to log in with your @username rather than your email address. On the login screen it will ask you to enter one or the other, but only the user name will really work. If you tried that, then nevermind.
