Just hoping to get some dialog going on this..
How accurate do you think his predictions were? If so how do we best prepare?
I'm personally thinking if this is true US fed notes will be completely worthless. No reason to keep any of it. Spend all your cash buying land/property, gold/silver, lead, guns.. i guess nothing has changed really. Anyway, just curious what yall thought of his theory and what's the best way to prep. I'm a little bummed I've built up so much cash and my investment portfolio to have it all disappear..
If the Fed Notes become worthless, and there is no replacement offered, this country and the world would erupt in total chaos.
I don't think you can believe there is a plan in place and believe they have not taken that into consideration.
In my opinion we are definitely leaving the Federal Reserve Notes and the Fed in the dust, but the transitition to a new currency will be almost seamless. We are headed back to a US Dollar backed by gold. I'm hoping that also means the buying power for our dollar is restored.
I think that is what Bix was talking about.
I agree with you.
I listened to this interview twice. What I found most amazing was what he said about how much gold the US has. He also said that we switched to gold back fiat money in 1913 because we had to sort out how to value the gold. In the 1970s, we got off the gold backed fiat to cut out speculation at that time.
As far as what will happen to us - he seemed rather positive. Only if you have more than $250,000 in the bank should you be worried about money in the bank (FDIC insurance can handle small accounts). There will be no run on the banks because they will close them. But then we will get reimbursed. There will be some way that the federal reserve notes will be valued.
The mint has said it is minting more coins but they are not putting them up for sale. He thinks they are getting ready to transfer "money" from the Fed to the Treasury. Average people do not have much gold or silver but banks have been accumulating them,
Me personally, I have been withdrawing money from the bank in moderate amounts twice a week and stashing it. Then if the banks do close for awhile, I will be able to buy stuff.
I listened to him and my thoughts are that money is becoming worth less and less every day regardless of the fed collapsing because they're printing money fast and furious. when it will all collapse I can't predict, but I think it's best to invest your money in becoming self sustaining and then in tangible valuables....land, physical gold/silver, farming equipment, deforestation equipment, vehicles, guns, ammo, cattle, etc
Very few of us can get the timing correctly. Ever since 2008, I had been preparing for the day all fiat currencies become worthless. Guess what? We are still using fiat currencies 15 years later.
Have physical land, equipment to grow your own food, and arms to protect your family while keep using fiat currencies for as long as it lasts is probably the way to do it.
Or if you want to take a step even further, do it the Amish way.
I would keep the coins,
They will have some value as metal
So convert all my paper money to coins lol got it
This is my strategy
That's a lot of pennies
Plus nickels, quarters, and dimes
I listened and was really curious when he said that the Grand Canyon has gold, and also spoke about Chocolate Mountain gold. Does anyone know more about any of that? A few internet searches didn't turn up much. Ty, frens.
