My guess: Its part of the cover-up playbook.
Also, the Bills were beaten this weekend (rigged IMO) so the team and story can fade. If they advanced, it would be one of those "win it for the downed man" stories and I don't think the powers that be want to shed any more light/flair on this situation.
We all need to remember he was basically GONE for several minutes and the game was CANCELLED! That's unheard of for an injury.
And yea, unfriggin believable that we're in the midst of a recession and dingbats will donate to a near millionaire who, if truly alive, will be well compensated by the sport.

Miami put up 31 on the Buffalo defense with a third string QB. If you saw that you weren't surprised Cincy was up 14-0 in minutes. Buffalo defense is brutal.
Buffaloes defense isn't that good . they were begining to do that in the canceled game .they moved the ball almost effortlessly in the begining of that game also !
