This book is ESSENTIAL for all doctors and for anyone with a serious health issue or that wants to avoid having one in the future.
It is very detailed and yet easy to read for patients and for doctors, it contains excellent historical and up-to-date information, has over 1200 scientific references and is also the only vitamin C book I am aware of that talks in depth about the new liposomal vitamin C products as well as all the other forms.
This last point is key, as Dr Levy explains that the best option for acute infections is a combination of liposomal vitamin C and vitamin C by IV and that given a choice of only one or the other, the better choice is liposomal vitamin C. The fourth best option is ascorbic acid taken orally and the fifth best option is sodium ascorbate taken orally.
I recommend this book, and saturation dose vitamin C by liposomal or IV delivery, or both, very highly.
I'm immensely grateful to Dr Levy (and all the other world leading vitamin C experts, past and present) for his work in this area and for this book - and to the very kind John Appleton of New Zealand who sent me a copy of this book with my recent Lypo-C order!

This is the most important health factor there is. Every mammal on Earth, produces vitamin C naturally, with a couple of exceptions. Gerbils, and humans do not. Without vitamin C, your body cannot produce protein. Linus Pauling did years of research on the effects of vitamin C on human health. What he discovered, was that the DRA that the government suggests, is far less than what we actually require. 250 mg is what you hear most often. As a matter of fact, it is more like 4 grams. The average Deer, produces 24 grams of Vitamin C daily. If you have ever wondered why people deteriorate as they get older, Vitamin C deficiency is the primary culprit. It was the British Navy, who actually discovered that eating limes and other citrus fruits, had a protective effect against scurvy, although the actual Vitamin wasn't isolated until many years later. Most of our population is suffering from low level chronic Scurvy. The immune system doesn't work properly without Vitamin C. I personally take 4000 mg per day, spaced out into 4 doses throughout the day. If you try to take such a large dose at once, you will need to stay close to the toilet, because it will go right through you. I have used this regimen for over 20 years, and have not experienced a cold or flu in all those years. I highly recommend reading Dr. Pauling's work on this subject. This knowledge could effectively improve the health and well-being of the human race.
In side by side comparisons, they both seem to get the job done, and taking Ascorbic Acid, is far better than not taking it at all. Mixing it with Bicarbonate of Soda, seems to improve it's performance.
OUR pharma companies can be done away with. COVID patients who have died in hospitals, then those hospitals AND doctors NEED TO BE SUED INTO THE NETHER WORLD...

How can I get real vit c and not that fake ascorbin acid shit?

The hurdle is understanding how much you must ingest for the effects to have impact. One 500 ml pill a day won't delver results.
