The House Financial Services Committee meeting yesterday debated and acted upon a motion and amendments for the subcommittee structure and their Committee Oversight Plan.
I have not read the Oversight Plan but am listening to their meeting recording on YT today. Am impressed with Chair McHenry's conduct and demeanor in leading his committee work.
I saw some MSM articles decrying that the Diversity and Inclusion Subcommittee of past Chair, Rep. Waters, was replaced by a different subcommittee by the new Chair McHenry reflecting Republican priorities (a subcommittee about consumer protections of digital assets, if I remember correctly). IMHO, I wonder if the Diversity and Inclusion Subcommittee was trying to implement the S part in the ESG global agenda. For the record, no one mentioned ESG that I recall in the meeting yesterday. This wondering was my own.
I hope to read their Oversight Plan once passed to see what oversight of these Federal Reserve agencies like CFPB is included.
Glad McHenry is watching out for us. This clown Chopra must hate good people that pay their bills.

It is all very interesting.
Excellent, please post the info once passed so everyone can see it. Thanks!
Am looking for it. May not be posted to the Congressional Record yet. Not sure if this is something that is available to the public or not.
Will keep seeking.
