Oklahoma and Texas are there Drilling causes shale earthquakes as well, but they're never above 4.0, really. The turkey earthquake was many thousands times greater than a 4.0, very very unlikely, it was a major major shift of something underground, but that's just my opinion

It could be a combination of things. You might be correct it is something underground.
