Honestly - I live on the east coast & have spring buds on all the trees that usually happens mid March - I haven’t seen any Robins yet the bird which is usually a signal spring is 2 weeks away, but I think they will usher in a cold blast to stunt vegetation. Maybe over thinking it but something is off.

Here in Michigan, the last 3 winters have been warm with limited snow but the springs have been ferocious. Cold and snow until May. La Nina effects.
If you remember the very first big covid protest in the world was on April 15th, 2020 in Lansing Michigan at the Capital. It was about 30 degrees and snowing. I was there with the wife. Not unheard of but we are usually warming up fast by April 15th.
