One of the planes is back up again and appears to be flying back the way it came, at least for now anyway. With 2 still on the ground and 2 more fixing to land at same Navy Air Station, and 1 still moving towards the Air Station.
The "Janet" flights - the ones that go from Las Vegas to Area 51 - have that paint job. White with the red horizontal stripe. Don't know if they are all 737s.
Designed to offer mission flexibility, the C-40A is a versatile FAA-certified 737-700 convertible / "combi" aircraft, optimized to transport passengers and cargo around the globe. The aircraft can be configured to carry all-passengers, all-cargo, or a combination of both. The C-40A is part of Boeing's C-40 series of aircraft, which also includes the C-40B and C-40C. The C-40A is currently on offer as the C-40Ai to countries around the world.

Looks like they left Nevada and at least the first one may land at the Naval Air Station in Virginia.

Those do have the red stripe but those planes are typically DC6’s.
DC-6s? Propeller airliners from the 1940s? There are fewer than 50 of these ancient beasts that are “airworthy”…
Name of VA Station, please.
What are these planes typically used for?

So next question is "who or what" are they flying from Nevada to Virginia and needing 6 planes to do it?
