Just as a thought experiment, I wonder what would have happened if you'd pushed it. The US Constitution is the Supreme Law of our land. No 'laws' created can be in opposition to it. If they are, they are by definition, 'illegal laws.' Had you the knowledge, or knew someone who did, you might have been able to fight it on wholly unconstitutional grounds. Which it most certainly is. If you ever move back to that state, I hope you won't give up your right to carry.
I hope someday you can live in a state where a 'permit' isn't necessary.
I came from a state that wouldnโt even let me have this. Iโll take it. I obviously believe in constitutional carry for all.
