The fact that someone - ANYONE - was hired to that position straight out of college, without a day of train experience says that the Cabal is involved. This is a CLEAR case of faulty diversity hiring.
My son is currently undergoing train master training after 10 years of working night and day holidays, on call 24/7/365 as an engineer.
It is telling of the current coporate culture at NS and what they deem as being important. It has nothing to do with safe operation and everything to do with appeasing the woke mob with virtue signaling and diversity hiring practices.
The wokeness has permeated the entire organization, it filters through right down to every level in every division and rots it from the inside, from the top right down to the bottom.

The Chief of Staff for the CEO has a degree in English Literature. Do you see where I am going here? Not just that they are female and diverse, but that their education does not lend themselves to have been the best candidate under normal circumstances. I guess you just aren't grasping what the rest of us can see.

You do know that most of us work for a living, right? In my position for example, I deal with actual engineers, among others. When hired on merit, the group of talent is wide, both sexes, all colors.
