My response to you is this: She has a degree, yes. But in Business administration, not Railroad Engineering, not Railroad Operations, etc.
Her current job title is: MANAGER OF TRAIN OPERATIONS at Norfolk Southern which serves: "22 states and the District of Columbia and operates one of the most extensive intermodal networks."
The Chief of Staff for the CEO has a degree in English Literature. Do you see where I am going here? Not just that they are female and diverse, but that their education does not lend themselves to have been the best candidate under normal circumstances. I guess you just aren't grasping what the rest of us can see.
