Ah, yes. This happened in Flint, Mi too during the water crisis there. Water rates are still high there. And I don’t know anyone who actually uses and trusts the water there even to this day.

People can be so good at making an awful situation worse.

I can confirm this first hand. I live on the border of flint. My neighbors in Flint don't drink the water.

The town i live in has water piped in from Detroit. For me, a 3 month bill (water and sewer) for a family of 3 is over $300. My 1200sqft house also uses $400 a month (winter time) in natural gas and electricity now. They jacked the price of that too. Same usage as this time last year and my bill is $105 more. Sorry for the off topic rant.
