These numbers only tell a part of the story. It would be interesting to know European military numbers stacked up to Russia numbers. Logistics is a serious problem for troops and supply chains. If Russia vs Europe my bet would be on Russia. If NATO moved all their militaries to be staged in Europe then odds move to NATO.
