Honestly when I read that the first thing I thought was: I wonder if there are enough people that are willing to work I'm factories after all this to make America #1 in manufacturing. What do yall think?
Well to be honest, we need to focus on robotics for most factory work. We'd be trying to go back in time if we tried to redo the Industrial Revolution's way of doing things. We don't need more Model-T's. We need state of the art technology implemented in a way that is affordable to the masses. But building, programming, modifying and maintaining a robotics oriented factory would still employ a lot of people.
If we have low-skill people needing work, put them to work maintaining public parks and gardens, sweeping streets, answering phones, etc.

I think for the right salary/life style many can be persuaded.
