I know this is obvious to many but I started to get agitated over this arrest talk and then realized, there is absolutely no way they waited until now to arrest him unless this entire thing is choreographed. The timing makes the whole "show" thing a 99.99% certainty.

This is all fake to try and prevent him from running again
It also creates a dangerous precedent [boomerang].
My wife is still having trouble accepting the depth of corruption in DC. However she did make the same comment to me over the weekend. I know what her usual news sources are and they are mostly mainstream. But, something is percolating even there that led her to the same conclusion.
