My friends recently said if the monetary system goes down they are driving to my home. A lot of people are depending on me prepping for this estimated 2 to 6 month period where we transition from the failed CBDC to barter and then finally to "white hat currency".
I am super curious to know the details of people's prepping strategies, specifically what are the most important items to buy if you have a strict budget.
I won't share everything but here is my list.
Food: I only have healthy organic food because I believe we have to be really healthy and sharp to make smart decisions in a time of emergency. We have beans, rice, oatmeal, dehydrated foods, and a massive collection of spices and salt, especially ones which medicinal value like ginger, turmeric and cacao powder. I figured spices will be a great bartering tool.
Defense: Guns and bullets, nothing complicated.
Health: a couple dozen home made natural ointments, topicals, dry medicines and herbs. The best natural painkiller in the world (kratom) and the most useful medicine in the world, hemp. Bandaids, bandages and that instantly stop bleeding stuff. Ivermectin is the only pharmaceutical I have and I only got it for barter, my natural options work better for me.
Bugout bag. Basic camping supplies. Food, water filter straws and water, enough to reach our bugout survival spot.
Financially: I keep a minimum amount of money in a credit union and I stack metals.
I can share more details if you guys have questions. I love hearing from as many different people as possible. I've already read the all those "essential prepping guides". I want to know how the most aware audience in the world is prepping.
I think you’re wrong in my area. We will rely on them for advice and goods, and they will rely on us for protection. That’s community.
