My theories:
- They are all run by inexperienced people who can't handle the smallest bit of challenges in the workplace. Maybe managing a Twitter account is their first job.
- They are all heavily influenced by FBI, and CIA. They are encouraged to just quit.
- They are all managed by the same firm who lacks the man-power to play a chess game with Elon. (Any kind of work that's as complex as chess is too much brain power for them).
- Twitter or a white hat proposed a plea bargain that requires quitting Twitter.

Like our local school district FB page... in a district of 50,000 people, there are literally just 10 that tow the woke/Leftist line. They lose command of the narrative every single day and respond by simply erasing everyone's comments and then shutting comments down.

I'm noticing that the most stubborn, when faced with their own illogical points in person, immediately now just resort to personal attacks. They skip over trying to defend the narrative completely and just get offensive. Fuck em' they were already useless lemmings.

Better to have people still believe there is a big following by fading away than having people become curious. And the people then discover that the supposed support on twitter is almost non existent.
We see it all the time on David Hoggboy's Twitter, it's amazing that whoever runs it is even bothering to keep going as over 90% of the comments are just calling him out these days. Perhaps WHs are leaving it up so that it can be seen that he has no real popular support. Brooklyn Dad Defiant is another astroturf account that keeps going for some reason.
Brooklyn Dud Demented is a great example of the type of person that would have downed the Kool-Aid at a Jim Jones party. He'll be singing the praises of the party even as he's part of the first purge.

Simple: They're used to getting their way with very little resistance, and now that the spoiled children are being told "no", they're throwing a tantrum and quitting the game altogether, deciding instead to storm out of the room.

l would think it is because of the pushback. I watch several woke & regime accounts and since most of the bots have been killed those accounts don't get much positive feedback. There are more of us than them and they don't like red suppositories.

Here's a possibility: Assume Elon is not who he purports to be, making assumptions by his actions up until this point not by his words or media coverage Elon got his wealth pushing climate change and getting government money, Elon has blanketed the world in satellites making it impossible to escape the grid, Elon is working on brain chips, Elon does everything our enemies want to do but everyone pretends "oh it's just Elon being Elon" although you'd expect geopolitical adversaries to have some questions about allowing a US citizen to blanket the Earth in satellites with Starlink. So let's say Elon is an intelligence asset. Right leaning people are primed for a backlash. Opening Twitter up (though not completely) allows there to be a pressure release valve while continuing to further the divide between people. No one will change each others mind but outrage will build higher (this is what I've seen). Even giving intelligence a better look at what it would look like when these ideologies meet. More data for the AI. All while giving them a new shepherd who most conservatives now love, "based Elon". These organizations are playing their part intentionally or not by feeding into the hero Elon narrative

Maybe their departures are strategic. If the celebrities and media still have a devoted following, why would they risk comingling them with the rabble on Twitter. Every moment that normies are active on Twitter, they are exposed to information that could "radicalize" them. Maybe this is all an organized retreat by the MSM, etc. to their controlled websites where they feel they have control still.

Clearly Twitter was not in existence to make a profit. We know that based on how Elon made it turn a small profit since he took over but it wasn't before he showed up.
These people are so stuck on Twitter being a social manipulation tool that they'd rather leave than allow it to change public opinion.
It's more important for them to get people off of Twitter now than to take advantage of it's massive user base.

I have heard him talk about his plans to make it profitable. And personally, I believe he will. I found these next couple paragraphs on Google after asking if Twitter is or has ever been profitable.

The reality is these organizations are only on social media as a way to bring readers to their websites so they can get clicks for ad revenue. Twitter is changing as a landscape and it's no longer friendly or working for them a.k.a. profitable and worth the effort, to spend money to have a presence on a platform. The reason NPR is leaving Twitter is the same reason why NPR isn't on Gab or Parler or Truth Social - there is no real value for them to spend money to pay someone to post on those sites because no one there wants to hear what they have to say.

The White hats removed their megaphone. This is something they NEVER anticipated and never planned for. Now, every time they espouse their lies and bullshit they're getting called out. This was never something they thought would happen, and can't handle it. Musk labeling them as government sponsored media was a real kick to their collective tiny nut sacks. They don't want people knowing this because it will cause more questions for them. Twitter is still the biggest megaphone on the internet, and they don't know how to contend with being openly called out, unlike in the past when those calling them out would be banned. I guess to sum it up, it's basically panic time for them.
Their handlers told them to retreat from the battlefield. Their bad arguments do more damage to their cause than no arguments.
And with no bot armies to support them, they have to defend their own arguments now.
