Her neighbor said SWAT was there. The schools are on lockdown and police are at every door on her street. Ring doorbell.

This could be the angle as well. Have something that happens that allows all base houses to be searched. Maybe they are looking for something and not really someone. Some special weapon? Stolen classified info?

I know technically they can search any houses they want to on base, but it would be a little harder to search all houses on base on the same day without some sort of a reason. Just something to consider.
