Mysterious Jet Fighter Crashes Near Mertzon and No One is Talking

A Czechoslovakian-made fighter jet crashed on a ranch just northwest of Mertzon.

Flaps down, pretty well intact for crash landing.

Who knows what the stall speed is on that plane, but the pilot did a good job landing his aircraft with no power.

Any crash you can walk away from is a good landing.
