That episode also would agree with Qanaut's analysis. What are vampires of legend but old, deceptively powerful and very wealthy. I agree they feed on BOTH the chrome and the body/blood of infants/innocents-who would produce more chrome.

I love the foil Jesus Christ provides in Holy Communion.Christ imparting righteousness through Godly means his own body and blood-because it is powerful, but through bread and wine "normal" means. God knows the machinations of evil and twists it for good. Biblical!
