LOL! I doubt that I am your junior; more like your mother or grandmother in age. Sounds like fun though.
Well granny is 89 my egg doner is 67... (if she's still alive) and I'm in my forties. My apologies for the assumptions, I just figure everyone here is an American male in their twenties or thirties lol. I constantly forget there's ladies here, other nationalities and older folks. I'm constantly fixing my grandmother's computer and still can't even teach her to text so it really doesn't enter my mind that somebody here is older.
My dad is 67 too and he can't hardly text either and has no clue where to source news after they canceled Tucker. Great father but he's barely able to send, "those picture things I send him that make him laugh so so much".
They're called memes dad 🤦♂️
No apology needed; I took no offense. I'm nearing 73 and I found your first reply pretty humorous. I think that some of us old farts jumped off the conveyor belt because it was pretty boring on there. I had my first computer in my early forties so I haven't had to play catch up like some who are struggling in later years. My Dad kind of handled a stand-alone email thingy but my Mom was entirely incapable of grasping any of it--but she had other issues anyway. Gotta love them though!
Why can't I have you for a neighbor? I'd be over helping you fix stuff and take care of some of your chores in trade for a home cooked meal. I have a customer your age and she's caring for her husband who is literally losing his mind and body, it's heartbreaking to see.
I didn't charge her hardly anything and made her promise to call me for ANYTHING anytime. It's a shame when people don't care for their elders. My body already hurts, I can't imagine how I'll feel in another 30 years.
Your caring brings tears to my eyes.....good tears of gratitude when like-minded souls bump into each other. I cherish these conversations. It's very blue here and friends are very few and far between. You're a blessing to those in your orbit; thank God for the opportunity!
I share your desire for like-minded/souled neighbors for sure. Superficial conversations, belief in lies, no interest in our Beloved Father.....there's just nothing there.
Three brothers left, all lined up for the clot shot. Two out of 3 adult children left living in Colorado; not much relationship with either. Most of us are stupid for many years and then we begin to see much more clearly and deeply.....obviously, some never do.
Physically, I was doing pretty decently until the scamdemic. I took a real hit and still have issues but some have resolved. All things considered, I see myself to be blessed. This forum sometimes is a place to chat with other similar-thinking folks; it's a rarity.
