Ryan Hall has predicted major doom and gloom weather wise, but none of it is expected here in NC, so I'm not worried. He also says that hurricanes will be blocked a lot. We haven't had any in a while, so that's no change either. The basic theme is wet weather along the southern part of the country and dry weather along the northern part of the country.
I get solar alerts from Australia by email, and there have been a lot almost every day, some of them in the upper M class range, but most lower or even down in the C range. The time to worry is when the flares start being in the X range. X40 or more would be worrisome, if aimed our way.
