Steve McCann's "Eight Startling and Uncomfortable Ways the Democrat Party Emulates the Nazi Party" was just the tip of the National Socialist iceberg. The fascist far left have always had to lie to survive. They've always been on the wrong side of history, and the only way they can remain viable is by gaslighting people on a full-time basis. For decades, their biggest lie has been that the supposedly pro-freedom side of the political spectrum, imbued in the precepts of individual liberty and limited government, is somehow connected to totalitarian collectivist regimes that displayed the exact opposite of those values. Anyone who has debated leftists
-
Democrats and the Nazis were/are obsessed with gun confiscation.
-
Democrats and Nazis are collectivists.
-
The overarching philosophy of both Democrats and Nazis is centralized control.
-
The centralized collectivist control philosophy of the Democrat and Nazi parties is epitomized in the phrase "the Common Good" (Gemeinnutz vor Eigennutz in the original German).
-
Far-left fascists of the Democrat and Nazi parties see force as means to their political power.
-
Democrats and Nazis are proponents of single-party system
-
Democrats and Nazis are fascistic.
-
Democrats are striving for a totalitarian state structure and a single party like the Nazis.

Only problem is that it’s the whole uniparty that’s the problem.
When the republicans held the whole gov under george w and did nothing, the republicans of old were gone.
Thank God for Q team, President Trump and the MAGA movement!
Interdasting OP....
How about doing the Soviets under Stalin and Lenin???
How about doing MAO and his little Red Book Club???
Pol Pot???
Every one of these were WAY, Way, way, worse than Hitler....
Fascist and Communist are just two sides of the same coin and they both are mortal enemies of liberty and personal freedom. The only major difference is that Fascists were ultra nationalists while Communists take a globalist approach. Our current rogue regime is a sick hybrid of the two. They have removed the one admirable quality of the Fascists and that was love of their homeland. Their model is China; who are no longer Communist in anything but name.
Well, according to History, Communism is when Government takes over everything, as witnessed with Mao and the whole USSR, whereas Fascism is where Government and Corporations Partner up against the Public, as seen in Mussolinis Italy, Hitlers Germany, and partially Spain....
Move forward into the Vietnam era, and I really have no clue what to call the shit done by the Khmer Rouge, Pol Pot, or even in Vietnam, it all went way past Fascist Communism, and into something akin to Despotic Authoritarianism by the Uneducated leading the even Less/Reverse Educated(??)....
But yeah, I see elements of all of that happening here and now, plus some other crazy things thrown in....
Ikr you don’t really have to go back that far to see the aweful similarities…
So many believe communism and nazi’s are polarized ideologies, this is untrue, they are parallel ideologies. In 1905 there was a failed communist revolution inside Russia. Germany took in Kazarian Jew refugees. I believe they were actually communists agitators/agents. During WWI it was them that sold out Germany, striking the Balfour agreement with Britain.
And at the same time Declaring War upon Germany, all while crying ""Victimhood"", for like the 50th time....
Too bad Patton didn't flat out tell the Media of their Time, that we fought the wrong enemy and made the world safe for Communism to expand and Flourish....
My grandfather said he only hated two groups of people, the KKK and the NAZIS, I liked ol grandad.
You forgot that the democrats have strong racial preferences that are enforced by their laws.
— Father of Critical Theory, Theodor Adorno, Jewish exile, From his 1951 book entitled "Minima Moralia"
Why would a Jew, intelligent enough to predict the coming violence of WWII and flee from his country, write this right afterwards?
Adorno shows a major flaw in the "Paradox of Tolerance" (Karl Popper, "Open Society and Its Enemies" 1945):
The Adorno quote describes nothing about today's right and is identical to today's left (maybe a warning to the Jews).
The Popper quote describes followers from being kept from hearing the other side's argument (who today is doing this?).
The Popper quote describes the followers will answer arguments with "fists or pistols" (punch a Nazi, anyone?).
The Popper quote describes canceling, shouting down speakers, screaming into town hall microphones. Is the right doing this? Or is that the left?
It would appear that the left is using the Paradox of Tolerance as a Divine Right to punish their political enemies at will by declaring them "intolerant" and then ushering in predetermined social and cultural behavior that is historically well documented to be generally intolerable.
Additionally, isn't "abolishing Whiteness" kind of intolerant? Isn't calling "Whiteness a disease" kind of intolerant? (Does anybody honestly believe that by saying, "but, I'm a Jew!" will, in the end, solve the obvious problem of your pale complexion to those who believe this sort of stuff?)
Here's a particularly relevant quote underscoring that assertion from the same essay by Adorno:
The left's Herculean efforts to "not appear to be Nazis" has in effect put them historically shoulder to shoulder in the same behavioral pew.
No, the Dems copied all of the Worst Policies from bad Governments of History, namely the Royals of various failed Nations....
The term, "Nazi," was originally an insult coined by propagandist Konrad Heiden, meant to insult the Germans. It was otherwise meaningless at the time. In more recent discussions using the term to describe the Germans, it should send up red flags.
The NSDAP party in Germany relaxed gun restrictions placed upon the German people during the Weimar Republic. Any claim to the contrary is simply false.
Germans were not collectivist, as that implies community ownership and communism. A fundamental principle of the NSDAP was personal ownership of property.
A common discussion involving "far left" vs. "far right" when discussing the NSDAP does not find common ground in current discussions of government. The NSDAP was fiercely populist, which today, would be considered "right."
I wouldn't characterize 1930s to 1940s Germany as a "single party system," necessarily. The NSDAP was in control, yes, but there were other parties represented.
IMO, AmericanThinker is a collection of mostly garbage editorials, some which border upon psyop. Trying to demonize the Democrat Party by comparing it to Germany is a fool's errand, not supported by the true history of the time. The Democratic Party needs no such comparison to reveal its socialistic goals.
There are many more parallels between the DemonRats and the Soviet Union, or even Pol Pots Khmer Rouge, that there are to the NSDAP, due to the sheer level of violence they have committed, how they directly or indirectly support Murder, esp., Mass Murder, or even Maos Red Book Club, due to the Level of Fear they want to impinge upon us....
