I tried looking at r/combatfootage but they seem to shill for Ukraine like every other sites. I would like some good combat footage from the Russian side if anyone knows where to find that.

I have a friend that lives in Kiev. I do not like to ask too many questions about this. They could lose their work permit that allows them stay home with family and not fight with the military. They are all sent to bomb shelters before any bombing starts. I think Russia notifies them for civilian safety, but I am not 100% sure how they know when to go to bomb shelters. They can hear the blasts, but cannot see anything. By the time they are let out of the bomb shelters, the fighting is over. No photos, no videos, and no eye witnesses. Just destruction...
That is actually pretty insane to read, I hope your friend will be ok.
From what we know from the fighting, the worst of it should be over. Let's just hope Ukraine will surrender since their fighting force has taken such a huge hit. I will pray for both of you guys. Stay strong.
