The Kennedy's were not a political family until he became President. JFK and his brother both gave their lives fighting the DS. Their deaths provide a foundation for what Trump is fighting against.
I would not place Trump above JFK, at all. They are the same.
dubious... SEC Chairman is not an elected political position and neither is Ambassador. Joe Sr. realized influence in politics was extremely important and so did JFK.
And YES... Trump is a POLITICIAN with a deep understanding of government influence and political power.
The post clearly connects JFK and Trump with a similar mindset. I really don't care about your nitpicking. Next time, watch the video and comment on that.
Only difference between JFK and Trump - JFK went in blind and opened his eyes. Trump walked in with his eyes open, because he could learn from the mistakes and misfortunes of those who went before him
Kennedy was elected via voter fraud through Chicago and created issues with him beholden to mafia interests. Anyone that was alive and voting in that election can tell you the issues that election had.
Now, after he became President, did JFK do some great things? Absolutely. Did he recognize the claws of the deep state undermining what he wanted to accomplish? Absolutely. Was he murdered for going against the deep state? Absolutely.
Everybody knows how JFK got elected. Joe Sr knew the route to the presidency, but JFK was not beholden to anybody and ultimately, that costed him his life.
JFK' s (i believe) older brother died under pretty suspicious circumstances during WW2- piloting an early "drone" aircraft tethered to his aircraft, and somehow "drone" exploded prematurely.
Great interview! Thanks for posting. I can really see why the American people fell in love with this man. Yes, he came from an elitist background. Yes, his father cheated him into office. But, then we began to see the heart of this president and it's awesome. CIA had to remove him. And, has worked hard to keep anyone of this caliber from ever being elected president again. By God's grace Trump and the WHs thwarted their plans.
Fantastic interview. The reporters didn't have to pry information from him, his answers were poignant and direct with explanation and background. His explanations of the relationship between the Executive and Legislative branches was very well explained and the problems of trying to execute his duties in Office were articulated, such that it was easy for everyone to understand. I can see how he came to have a loyal following among the people. Regardless of his marital indiscretions, I believe he was indeed a good man that was trying to do the best he could for the USA. It is one of the great tragedies of our history that he was assassinated. I would be very interested to know how the world would have been affected if he had not been betrayed by members of his own government. I wonder if he would've sought to destroy the Cabal and the Deep State or would they have succeeded in bending him to their will. I tend to believe the former, they would not have risked so much to assassinate him if they believed he could be brought into the fold.
As a 30 year old that only has a vague understanding of JFK and a the Era, I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Why can't more leaders in our government just sit down and explain decisions in retrospect or give the public insight without being crazy or becoming marketeers for their agendas
This is probably the most honest and insightful interview of the of a president in modern history. Nothing is rehearsed. Kennedy gives detailed and in-depth answers. Admits responsibility and culpability in the Bay of Pigs. Offers a precise analysis of the press and his advisors, candidly talking about how the system works.
I believe The Office is a reflection of the man and that's why I draw parallels to POTUS 45.. unfortunately, Trump doesn't have the luxury of dealing with a somewhat honest media.
As much as I liked JFK, he was still a politician from a political family.
Trump isn't a politician, and that, for me, puts him above JFK.

Joseph P. Kennedy Sr.
a prominent Irish-Catholic Democrat briefly served as a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission chairman and an American ambassador to the U.K.
Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy
grew up in a wealthy and political Irish-American household (her father, John F. Fitzgerald was the mayor of Boston)

Key excerpts:
As far as I'm concerned, that qualifies my statement that he came from a political family.
Seems that you like to argue. I've clearly stated that I don't agree with you placing Trump over jfk. It's a very narrow view.
I wasn't arguing that at all. We're both entitled to our opinions.
I was merely clarifying that JFK was from a political family when you claimed that he was not, that's all.

ONLY is an understatement. Thank GOD as you pointed out Trump went in " Eyes Wide Open".
Yes, but Trump has far more allies than JFK did. The fact that he is still alive and WINNING against the DS is proof.
The words "Standing on the shoulders of giants from the past" comes to my mind.

Why can't we have this again today?
Is this like what 60 minutes is supposed to be?
