This is constitutional! Then eliminate the income tax....both are unconstitutional.
the so called 'income tax' is absolutely unconstitutional. Property taxes at the state level are not unconstitutional, per se. But they do both tend to be regressive taxes.

Did you misunderstand my comment? Governor Abbott's statement regarding property taxation is definitely constitutional, finally--both property and income taxation are direct taxation and are therefore, unconstitutional. People never own their own properties; the local lizards steal the ownership for themselves. Abbott is advocating for the removal of property taxation. Article 1 Section 9 Clause 4 of the Constitution and the 4th Amendment apply to both property and income theft.
