I am constantly bewildered when people ask me for evidence that can so easily be obtained by anyone with an internet connection and the ability to form a query on a search engine.
You do realize that the game was broadcast on TV, right?
Idk about Full, but def a crowd. I wonder how many were there for the Dodgers or for the Giants. I wish people would boycott all of it, but it would be interesting to know crowd statistics. Just to see if the Dodger fanbase is reacting to these issues at all.
Btw, thanks for the link. I personally don't like baseball and only care at all because of the woke issues.
Yes, it's a crowd. The bleachers behind home plate and behind 1st and 3rd look full. I didn't mean to imply it ranked up there as in World Series types of crowds. But definitely leans more to "full" than the "ain't nobody here!" photos of the OP.
👍 I was just happy during that first camera pan at the beginning of the video to see so many empty seats. 🙂
But, that might be normal, idk. Either way, thanks!
My bad. I was hoping to delete it before anyone saw it. I thought that site kept track of attendance of all home games, but I think I pasted the wrong link.
I had a few up at the same time trying to find a good one to post and I think I goofed.
I'll keep looking for a bit and if I find the one I meant to post, I'll put it up.
I used to love baseball, and then they had that strike so I switched to hockey and soccer. 🤷♀️
Edited to add; just as a casual viewer of when my husband gets the remote and watches baseball highlights, it definitely seems to be fewer butts in seats than normal. I'm convinced quite a few people boycotted the game entirely.
I wasn't trying to say that the boycott did nothing. I'm sure it hurt them some. What I objected to was the misrepresentation that the entire game had crowds like the OP's photo. I'm not trying to doom by slapping out the reality stick. I just don't like people trying to fool themselves or others in such matters.
Thank you for providing a link. When I posted, I had not been able to find any photos that disputed the source I linked to. Those who said I was wrong did not provide any links to prove it. But you did.
Now, you say, "...you can see a full stadium". No, you can see a stadium where there are many, many seats empty. I would say it was closer to 1/3 full. But certainly way more full than the photo in my post.
Of how large the crowd size was?
If you believed the source you used when you were saying no one showed up, why wouldn't you believe that source when it showed the stadium full?
But here's a link to highlights of that game, where you can see a full stadium.

Ooh. I know nothing about this though, so what I'm seeing is ytd attendance? How much is left of the season for this year?
