One tank does not a convoy make. Could someone have come up with a new Kill Dozer?
EDIT: Oh wait, I do see other tanks at the head of that column now. Hmmm, could it be a NG exercise? Idaho Falls doesn't seem to be a hotbed of terrorism.
Saw someone post this but some are saying training some say itās happening in other cities but havenāt seen any real sauce - here are some responses:
As a former member of 4th Tanks I can tell you this is NOT a ātraining exercise.ā We train at firing rangesā¦not on public streetsā¦

Your panicking over nothing! Idaho National Guard has the 116th Cavalry Brigade Combat Team which has the 148th Field Artillery Regiment in it. They run M109 A6/7 SPHs. It was probably maneuvers.

Not to be picky, but those are not tanks. They are self propelled howitzers (artillery).
At the tail end. Looked like a pair of M113s in front of them.
Though itād be a tad unusual for them to be running Armored maneuvers in city limits and not at a training facility. Though not unheard of from my observations.

They are M109 155mm self propelled artillery, not tanks as in Main Battle Tanks (MBT 's).
