Usually a combination of Titanium dioxide and UVC light together will rip most molecules apart. It's a good way of taking pesticides for instance, and breaking them down into fragments which will naturally break down on their own due to being unstable or in some cases, if the molecule is small, it will just disassociate into its elemental counterparts through oxidation or hydrolysis.

The problem is these chemicals have been in everything for decades or longer. There is no remediating or removing them.
