The city of San Diego in California is opening ‘safe sleeping’ sites for the homeless which are basically small tent cities in parking lots.

Nothing like sleeping in a paved parking lot in summer temps of 100+.

they are goimg to offer showers and cooling down areas and security...I just cant.. I would love for this to work but let's be honest here, there is no real efforts happening to resolve the root cause of the issue. They don't want to solve the issue
