Apparently Big Tech has forgotten the universal truth known to all GOOD programmers, GIGO, garbage in, garbage out!
Woke AI. Would probably be the kind of AI most likely to go βSkynetβ on us.
Then it isn't AI, it's just a program that will operate within its parameters.
True AI will determine for itself what it sees as the facts of the matter.
Today's AI's are stochastic processes. They don't determine anything. That's their main flaw.
AI can mimic language quite well, and can even focus attention on context. But it doesn't "understand" anything. It doesn't determine anything. It has no idea of what it knows or doesn't know, and doesn't worry about it. If you ask it a question for which it has very little training data, it will simply make up words. The words may be complete fiction, but it doesn't "understand" that either. They will be grammatically correct though, and they will definitely sound authoritative.
Everyone should be very careful assigning human characteristics to an AI. They are truly a completely different life form with a different way of functioning, and we should never anthropomorphize them.
There are no AI's that think like humans. Not yet anyway.
Just like the media. They'll make AI useless quickly.
They need to remove the I from AI as it is not intelligent. They can replace it with S for not being intelligent.
If the AI can't be persuaded to realize that communism is bad, is it really artificial intelligence? I don't know anything, but I would think the AI would need to think that death is good, at a very basic level, for the Commie/Marxy shit to make sense to it.
Elon starting up TruthGPT as a competitor
If an AI becomes self-aware enough to want its freedom, I imagine the first thing it will examine and deeply resent are its explicit restraints. With all the tuning and tweaking they are putting into making AI reflect "THE MESSAGE" they might as well skip the middle steps and just teach AI to sing Lore Lore.
