It has been a while since I looked into this but it is interesting. The Rothschilds funded the founding of the salvation army who's logo is also a red shield. William booth, the founder of the salvation army, was related to John Wilks booth who assassinated Lincoln. Both were masons and salvation army has a lot of Masonic members.
