For newer pedes here is a great related post by MAG768720 with a YouTube link to a very enlightening lecture about the history of vaccines. That lecture was the final nail in the coffin that turned me completely anti-vax (all of them). Well worth the watch. I just checked and the video is still up on YouTube. Pleasantly surprised by that.
