Was doing less than 20 carbs a day to lose weight and in order for my diet to work i went off insulin which makes me gain fast. So high fat meats - 1 salad a day and 2 cups of greens like broccoli. Anyway, without cheating i was barely loosing weight. About 1 lb a week...but i felt awful and my sugar stayed extremely high for 4 months. i had to go back on the insulin and 9lbs of the 18 lbs i lost went right back on in 2 weeks . Demoralizing as that was after reading this post i guess i am killing myself slowly with insulin anyway. Lovely.
There is a phenomenon of complete insulin resistance and sugars staying high even on low carb when your liver is shot i guess. Thats what the endo basically told me. She wants me to add trulicity to this matrix of death.
I was desperately chugging apple cider vinegar, lemon and cinnamon to help with blood sugar numbers to no avail.
Now ive been smuggly patting myself for avoiding the bio weapon only to now realize i have no solution to this problem and i am retarded for taking the insulin but will likely kill myself without it. My a1c went to over 8 on low carb with no insulin. My body has been fucked since the pregnancy and insulin.
This is a cry into the nether. Im going to pray to Jesus now.
Not a doctor, but I have to drop about 20 lbs when my A1C was on borderline. I can tell you certain methods but it will take you a little bit of time plus exercise.
If you can do keto, that's mostly protein, low carb and cut out all sugar product for half a year. I know it is a long time, but you will see the weight coming down. As for something to help you take down the weight, Chromium, Carnitine, Omega-3 fatty acid and Garcinia would be helpful. Of course, drink plenty of water and exercise every day even half an hour.
I was doing all of that. My A1C isnt borderline ...it is very high. Ive had diabete type 2 since pregnancy 2 years ago. They had me on on long and short insulin. Before that i was borderline and metformin worked. Now it doesnt. The problem is the huge weight gain during pregnancy because of pregnancy and insulin.
One step at a time, the weigh can come down. It didn't get there overnight, so it won't happen overnight (if it does, something is very wrong and you will have trouble).
Just keep moving forward and does the right thing. I believe in you.
Thank you. Seems like the damage is done with that long insulin pen already. Im not stopping trying. I have my 2 year old to be better for and live a little longer if i can get this weight off.
Lovely. Im fucked.
