That is so great you and your husband have done these prayers. I have always prayed for changes and for goodness for all.
In 2010 I did a forgiveness prayer for Wounded Knee 1890. And asked God and Jesus to help me forgive those who murdered the people. I did not blame white people as I refuse to blame the innocent as it would make no better then those who committed the crime. God and Jesus carried me through the prayer and i felt bad because my heart was not there where it should be yet. I then asked God and Jesus to forgive me and to help me.
The next year on Dec 29th I was spiritually guided to do the prayer again for our tribe and then all the people in the lands of the Americas . Surprised me why not the whole world. But I learned a long time ago with God the obedience is more important then the understanding. Once the obedience is fulfilled then the understanding comes. When I did this prayer I felt all the healing over the past year and fully understood the wisdom Jesus shared about forgiveness. And this lines up with Black Elk the first and most important peace is the one we make within ourselves. As we can not make peace with others if we have not peace within our own heart. Then I understood why the second prayer was for all the people in the lands of the Americas.
Then in 2012 I did this prayer for everyone around the world. I was not guided to continue this prayer until Aug 29 2022. In this prayer it was spiritually stressed we must first forgive ourselves for all the wrongs we have done. Then we must forgive all others who have done us wrong, And ask all to forgive us for any wrong we have done to them Then last we must ask for all other life God created that we have done harm to to forgive us. As God created all life we are all related to the same Creator . This is what is needed to fully heal.
We need healing and not more continued destruction.
Edit: I just looked up Robbie because I couldn't remember if it was Dylan or Clapton who he played with, it was Dylan. Was sad to find out he just passed on Aug. 9th. RIP Robbie, thank you for all the wonderful music!
Thank you Captain,
All of you here are amazing and I feel humbled and honored to be among you. You have courage to stand up to evil. We are all Gods children and related to all life created. Only we the human family were given free will. All God created loves us and we love all the life created. Instead of tv I go outside and feel all the love that God created with all life he created while I dump all the negative energies they try to send our way. I allow those positive energies to flow in and out of me to share the good energies. This helps me tremendously and I share this with all of you. It was never about color but always about the right heart. I give all thanks to God for these teachings and this is why I go with LakotaPride. Pride in all Gods and the teachings Jesus brought forth. There are other prides to have but I do not recommend them.
Thank you for the song, They also do a great Amazing grace in Cherokee. Allow me to share two songs. Here is Amazing Grace in Lakota . When I am with my Christian brothers and sisters we sing this song. They in English and we in Lakota. Amazing how our hearts and song become one with God and Jesus
The second song is a Lakota mourning song which I sing in every prayer. I sing this song for all Gods children who passed on from the beginning of all life created to the present . And I sing it for all life created from the beginning to present that has passed on because they were created by God and are our friends. By doing this my heart never gets cold and shows my appreciation for all life God created.
Thank you and I owe this all to God and Jesus and why I will never take any credit for it. Any wisdom I may have came from God and I am the beneficiary of that wisdom and share it with all his children. We will have a lot healing to do when this is over.
Amen we will be healed and Jesus showed the way.
Amen , my heart was lifted and I am still a work in progress.
