More Than 2,000 Students Missing From School Enrollment in Wake of Deadly Lahaina Wildfire

Hawaii state education officials reported more than 2,000 children missing from the Lahainaluna complex enrollment following the deadly West Maui wildfires in early August.

Any info on how many of these children are reported missing by their families?? I’m assuming some if not most families may have had to, at least temporarily, relocate.. Are the authorities addressing this or keeping their compliant voices silent ??
