Oddly, that very word has come up recently in a delta to GEOTUS’s court date:

The literal meaning is, we looked out for pedo-joe and gave him a vaccine.
The optics are GEOTUS is more powerful than pedo-joe and could be viewed as, we put him on the playing field (gave him a shot) and now we’ve effectively removed him (took care of him). Moves and counter moves? A war like posture?
From reading her Twitter a bit, she doesn't appear to want to be taken literally/directly.

That's why i love to make posts like this because I trust Halper-Hayes but not sure how to perceive her "Optics" comment.
