I'd like to see my company try to force me to get a vaccine again. I won't even respond, if they fire me I'll sue.
Edit: To clarify, I did not get the jab the first time. Just submitted a religious exemption which they denied 2 times, then the courts ruled it couldn't be mandated and I stayed employed.
That's the course I took the 1st time. I'm self-employed. I had a long standing contract (25 years) with a global company. They "mandated" that I take the clot shot because they had federal government contracts. The deadline for submitting proof of vaccination came & went. They started contacting me via email & then telephone. I refused to respond. I knew if I did I'd lose my patience with them. I made the decision to "fire" them. After everything died down they contacted me asking if I would consider coming back. My response: Sure - but not at the previous day rate.... I insisted on almost double of what I was getting before. Well they said "we can't pay that". Well it was nice knowing you. At this point I hope they go out of business.
