Where the conscious mind under the influence of evil (lies) feels an inner conflict, due to the dissonance between what the deeper heart and conscience knows is the truth, the liberated mind with access to Truth feels a resonance between the information coming in via the senses and the truth resonating in the heart.
This is why the joy of a person who discovers truth is so much more potent than the temporary joys and elation experienced by those who consciously are led by lies.
The absence of conflict between the original heart and nature endowed by God and the conscious, waking mind allows God's love and spirit to flow more freely, with less hindrance, through the human mind.
After all, a human being is little more than a tuning fork. Our nature is to seek and find resonance with our source and origin, God, the Creator. When we turn away from this, the dissonance causes confusion, pain and torment.
When someone consciously resonates with God's truth, they become like a bell whose wavelength is powerful and true. Thus, God's truth is conveyed to the world more freely.
Every time we encounter an inner conflict between what we hear and think consciously, and what our original heart tells us, it's important to check and see:
Is there a dissonance here? Or is there harmony?
Tuning ourselves to sense that is like training a muscle to work. It takes practice, effort, and investment. A willingness to find and practice humility is the most powerful weapon here.
Thus, we find awakening, both externally, through learning more and more truth, but also internally, by constantly refining our resonance with God's voice within.
In the end, this is the full purpose of external expressions of truth. To be a guide for us to refine and hone in on the True Resonance within.
By bringing the internal and the external into harmony, we open the way for God to be increasingly present in a world that he seeks to live in, that he seeks to love in, and in which he seeks to find his lost children and rescue them.
A willingness to find and practice humility is the most powerful weapon here.
Exactly! Surrendering your will to God's will is the key to turn your tuning fork to the Joy setting! It's also the most difficult thing to do sometimes!
I have 3 resources that are my go-tos when I'm feeling low.
I highly recommend Francis Scovel Shinn books!! The Power of the spoken word and Your Word is Your Wand are my favorites. I read or listen to a portion everyday.
Feelings Buried Alive Never Die by Karol K Truman. This is an incredible book.
Emotional Freedom Technique, or EFT, is an easy process to set your mind straight when anxious/overwhelmed/etc.
Note: it ALL goes back to Genesis 1. In the beginning was the WORD. God created the universe with His Words. We are made in His image and we have free will with our words. When we tune or words to His, Joy and Life follow. When we tune our words to worry and conflict, we create unhappy circumstances for ourselves.
Keep in mind that the experiences shared in this work come from a limited understanding, but there is much to learn and understand.
It may not seem connected, but by far the most important step in developing an understanding of the internal world is realizing internal reality. External sources of truth trigger that internal resonance and unlock our inner capacity to experience and cognize.
I'll think about some other sources and get back to you.
I created this graphic myself, based on my understanding and experience spending a lifetime observing the inner and outer worlds of the human experience.
I've heard of Majestic 12 but never looked at or investigated the content.
The graphic is part of a series (I posted another one just before posting this one - link in the text) I developed to explain and illuminate some of the aspects of the internal mechanics that many of us experience but only unconsciously or with limited insight.
Understanding the internal world is part of the heritage that we lost with what is described in Genesis Chap. 2.
It's possible to consider history through the prism of a continued movement from ignorance of the internal (spiritual) world towards recovery of knowledge of the internal world.
By far the biggest leap took place 2000 years ago, but as Jesus made abundantly clear, there were many things he simply could not share because they weren't ready (could not grasp it).
Internal ignorance is not overcome purely by intellectual means. Indeed, the intellect is limited. So there is a reciprocal connection between internal experience - aka direct observation and cognition of internal reality - and development of understanding of the internal world.
Satan's greatest efforts have been focused on preventing humanity from grasping the inner spiritual reality. Death, the purpose of life, the nature of restoration/salvation, etc., clear knowledge (based in experience) of these is the greatest threat to Evil, because knowing the truth truly sets us free.
It's worth noting that Paul himself frankly acknowledged that his own grasp of these (and other) things was limited: "now we see dimly as in a mirror" and he predicted a future time when "then, we shall see face to face".
In my personal view, the Great Awakening is the precursor to that time, when, after the extremely oppressive pall of darkness that has been covering mankind (despite the light that Jesus planted 2000 years ago) is lifted, humanity will begin to see and realize the internal truths that Jesus wanted to share, but could not.
From the viewpoint of history being the process God has conducted to lead his children from darkness of ignorance into the light of knowledge, we will begin to understand spiritual reality and existence in as closely a defined and logical,. methodical way that we know understand the material world.
First the dust, and then the life. First the flesh, then the spirit. The Great Awakening is the precursor, the beginning of the transition. IMO.
Kek. Well, its all about context isn't it. From ONE perspective, a human being is a tuning fork, created to resonate with God's love and truth. But from myriad other perspectives, of course, we are SO MUCH MORE than that!
That's the great thing! We are both extremely simple, and highly complex at the same time!

Welcome to the Great Awakening.
Thank you :)
Rings true to me.
I see it similarly. When one's truth is close enough to the Truth, it resonates with it. One can become conscious of the resonance.
It's no coincidence that cognitive dissonance is so named.

Iād like to learn more about this. Can you recommend or link good resources? Thanks!

Getting some of the real basics helps. Foundation knowledge.
I strongly recommend reading this: Life in the World Unseen (http://www.ghostcircle.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/Anthony-Borgia-Life-In-The-World-Unseen.pdf)

Look on the side bar, there are more than a few places to gain knowledge there.
Just of out curiosity, fren, where did you find this graphic. What it depicts is very similar to how Majestic 12 explains things.

This also explains why some here in this community continually argue and cause conflict when someone disagrees with them.
Interesting point, and probably the most practical takeaway from this description we can apply right here, right now.
I'm little more than a tuning fork? Here I was thinking that when you get into the new age religious stuff it would get complicated.
Lol... don't get some of us started.
Nah, it's alright, go ahead! Bang one of my tines against something solid and see if I ring true.
