False. That's like saying light can see you.
Technologies are coming out to use wifi as if it were vidible light. Your wifi cannot see you, there are however "cameras" (devices) that can.
Heck, I've even heard the Christians In Action can see what you're doing in the living room through your Smart TV. Even if it does not have a camera built in, the television can somehow "see" what's in the room and take a pic. It reads the thermal mass of objects and stores that as data, then through the bluetooth or the cable attached to it, the Christians can retrieve the info and put the data into a computer and out pops a pic of your room. Science fiction, yes, but I believe it is a reality.
Not with all the lead paint on my walls.

But but but Meta/Facebook is a harmless digital public commons for socializing and fun. Right? Right?!

Any TV has an IR sensor to see the IR signal from the remote.
If said tv also has an IR emitter (like a led), then it can send out a ping that the sensor can detect the reflection of. Kinda like sonar and radar.
The best it can do is see a blob moving around. It can't make out any detail.
