I should get one and the next time they scream that fires are coming to San Diego ( they have done it a few times ) I’ll throw one on my roof just to be a smart ass ! I live coastal so it’s harder for them to do wild fires near me ,, but then again look what they did in Hawaai,, I still can’t believe it ! I pray that murderous horror woke up most of the ignorant !
I lived in SD for a year and a half a few years ago. My take-away was that it was a great place to visit, or live for a short time, but the dense population, ridiculous cost of housing, and lack of seasonal diversity, just made it a place I wouldn't want to live in longer than I did. I did enjoy a really good year and a half of surfing though :) (and apparently, I caught what was probably the best string of swells they had in a couple of decades) The houses are soooo close together there, that it seems like it wouldn't take much for a fire to sweep through, from east to west, if strong winds from the east were blowing.
The thing is, they can easily know who owns what house, and if blue solar paneled roofs tended to be owned by Democrats/people of influence, then that may explain their lack of burning, rather than the blue color itself. And if so, then having a blue room somewhere else, if you can be easily identified as "the opposition", would not protect you, if it is not the color that resulted in certain homes being spared.

UN helmet color is the proper color. Can also be found in spray paint for your steel targets...just for practice.
