I do not know of one person, in my family, or my peers,, who use Twitter or X, they are on Facebook, and not for political reasons, it is a way to share photos and to kee up with families that live far away, make jokes, share photos of trips, good news, bad news. Honestly, in the real world, at least where I live, people are not relying on social media for their news. There are two kinds of folks, those that live life fully in their circle of irl friends and family and small town activities, and those that live on line, for the most part. Those that vote a certain way, probably do what their family did, or their friends, many do not bother at all. You know that there were awake people before the internet, right? There were books once.
